April Fool’s day is an awkward time to be winning lottery jackpots, but a Coos Bay man is happy nonetheless.
Meat cutter Brett Glover purchase a $5 Keno 8-Spot ticket at the end of his shift on the 1st of April. But when he got it scanned the next morning and they said he won $89,000, he initially thought it was just a prank. But doing multiple scans and calling the lottery offices only confirmed the win.
Glover now plans to use his windfall to buy some property and save what remains.
