Many Italians consider the town of Colobraro very unlucky because of many tales of misfortunes suffered by its residents in the past.  Though some in the town have taken advantage of the superstition by creating events to attract tourists the current mayor is keen on shedding the “cursed”reputation of his town.

The mayor has convinced the SuperEnalotto Italian State Lottery to provide each town resident with a free ticket where the current jackpot is €94 million.  He believes that if someone from the Colobraro wins the jackpot, it could finally free his town from its “cursed” reputation.
