Michigan is the latest state to offer lottery prizes meant to assure a player’s financial well-being “for life.” The Lucky For Life game which awards $1000 a day for life as its top prize has just been made available in Michigan; ticket sales start on 27th January and the first draw is on the 29th. Previously, the game was only available in thirteen other states.
To win the top prize, a player must match five winning numbers and one lucky ball. If a player matches only five winning numbers but not the lucky ball, he still wins a prize of $25,000 a year for life. For life means a minimum of 20 annual payments or lifetime whichever is greater.
Draws of the Lucky for life game are conducted on Mondays and Thursdays.
