Paraeducator Bill Delmatoff had been playing Oregon’s Megabucks Lottery for some time. But as he bought his usual tickets, something made him plunk $4 more for Powerball tickets. For trying a new lottery game, he is now a millionaire.
Delmatoff and his wife Liz matched all five numbers in Saturday’s draw to post a million dollar win. The lucky winner was in disbelief until the check was actually in his hands. Now the couple says they want to donate part of their winnings to charities which provide assistance to parent with foster children.
