Players of the New Jersey took a long time before one of them managed to win their Pick 6 game. The prize had snowballed to $20.1 million in the 53 draws since Dec. 12, 2013 before someone finally made the 6 number match. But just a week later, and before the June 16th sinner could claim his winnings, another player managed to match all six numbers to win the Pick 6 jackpot. This time however, the jackpot on the June 23rd draw was “only” $2.1 million. The jackpot for the next draw has since been reset to $2 million.
Lottery officials are looking forward to awarding he prizes to two new New Jersey millionaires after a long drought. The winning ticket for last Monday’s draw was purchased at White Oak Liquors on Union Avenue. The store won a commission of $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.
