Kansas City woman Pat Roscher played the lottery using the same 3, 9, 13, 17, 21 and 29 number combination for ten years without winning anything. It took a purchase at QuikTrip in Pleasant Valley to give her lots of quick money.
It was a night in April when she decided to purchase ticket with her usual numbers at the store. After the draw date, she found that she had won the jackpot. And like most winners, she had a hard time believing that luck finally visited her in a big way.
She later chose to be paid $1.25 million in lump sum. Now she and her partner want to purchase a new home, pay off bills. take a vacation in Hawaii and retire a little early.
QuikTrip earned a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
