A man from Saginaw Township won a lot more than he initially thought when he managed to bag the top prize on a Winner Green game holiday lottery-scratch off ticket. He thought he had only won $50,000, but he was one digit off; Ramesh Singh, the manager of the store where he bought the ticket from corrected him saying the prize was really half a million dollars.
Stunned by the win, the winner, who asked to be kept anonymous, shouted the managers name for what seemed like five minutes. When he settled down he claimed his prize which came to $355,000 net of taxes.
The winner will buy a new truck and look for a house. He has decided to keep on working.
