A California storeroom clerk has just become a millionaire. Pablo Chavez won a million dollars from a 50X the Cash Scratchers ticket.
Chavez says his family were scared when they learned of his win. That is why Chavez is trying to keep it secret from his wife till she returns from a vacation; but with the internet, that would be hard to do. The winner says he wants to use the money to help some family members and also to buy a new house.
Bunny’s Mini Mart in Compton which sold the winning ticket earned a $5,000 bonus.
