The UK’s often controversial ‘The Health Lottery‘, has just received a sharp rap on the knuckles from the Advertising Standards Authority.
Claiming the ad was simply light-hearted and in a comedy style, The Health Lottery were disappointed to have the ad banned.
The ad depicted various people stating they had lost things, such as a holiday or a new kitchen. The insinuation being that they had lost because they didn’t play the game.
This was upheld by the ASA who felt that the ad was effectively calling those who didn’t player ‘losers’.
