Thirsty School Custodian Posts Million Dollar Win

Michael Owenby got thirsty helping his friend shop for a car, so he went to the M&S Food on Patton Avenue in Asheville.  While at the store he decided to buy $5, $10, and $20 tickets and got extremely lucky.

He scratched the Millionaire Bucks ticket and realized it was a million dollar winner.  When he cashed it in, he chose to receive a single payment of $600,000 before taxes instead of an annuity of $50,000 for 20 years.  The winner, who works as a school custodian, says he wants to buy a new car and save the rest for retirement.
