One of four $1 million lottery prize tickets, sold last year at a gas station in Wood Dale had been unclaimed for almost a year.  Considering rules that limit redemption of winning tickets to just one year after the draw, lottery officials had posters made for people to check their tickets.

Last Sunday, three days before the expiration of the redemption period, a group of three people and their lawyer presented the winning ticket at the lottery offices.  You can tell the win was really meant for them.
