Geordie Rodick and his wife once again proved the old saying that behind every successful man is a woman. Rodick has thrown his EuroMillions ticket in the bin when his main numbers did not win anything. But fate, through Mrs. Rodick, had other plans.
The wife does not know why she fished out the ticket to have it checked at the store where her husband bought it. She was then informed that their ticket won in the Millionaire Maker raffle draw, to the tune of a million pounds.
The winner says the fortune will not change his ‘old crabbit’ self. He plans to buy a house, set aside some money for each of his six sons, and surprise his mother in law with a vacation trip.
