Woman’s Impulse Ticket Purchase Is Top Prize Winner

When Christine Collins of Stamford stopped by the Star Food Mart at Oxford Sunoco, she was attracted to the brightly colored Win For Life instant tickets that she bought three of them.  But on impulse, she decided to buy one more.

Her decision proved to be heaven sent.  The fourth ticket revealed she had won the top prize of $7,500 (before taxes) for life.  Her mother did a double check and confirmed her good fortune.  She opted to receive the prize in full – $7,500  a month for life with a minimum guaranteed payout of $1.8 million over a cash option that would pay only $1.5 million.
