A €3 Quick Pick selection EuroMillions lottery ticket purchased from a Tesco outlet on Tuesday gave a very lucky couple from Athlone €500,000. The winning couple, who do not wish to be identified, received their prize last Thursday, just before the holiday weekend.
The delighted couple plan to spend most of their winnings on their family, and are also looking to vacation somewhere warm.
