Three Of Four Lotto 6/49 Winners Are From BC

The Canadian Lottery has announced that the biggest jackpot ever won for the 6/49 game will give each of four winners, $15,853,471.30.  The jackpot resulted from nine consecutive draws without a winner.

Three of the four winning tickets were sold in BC (2 in Surrey and 1 in Vancouver.  The fourth winning ticket was sold in Alberta.  However, the previous largest jackpot, of $54.3 million had been won by a group of oil workers from Alberta.
