22 NYC Workers Bag Big Jackpot

Raymond Wills, who leads a betting syndicate of 22 c0-workers, was attracted by the $425 million jackpot in the Megamillions Dec.13th draw.  Because of this he bought lottery tickets in behalf of the group.  They did not hit the $425 million jackpot, but the group managed to hit a $1 million payout just the same.

The lucky group of ‘City Haulers’ all work for the Syracuse, New York’s engineering department.  Another case of a syndicate winning big.  The winners have different ways they want to spend their portion of the money.  One will need a new vehicle, another will pay for a child’s college education, etc.

But one very good thing that their win proved is their strength of their bonds.  Four of them were not even at work when the rest chipped in, but colleagues covered their share.
