Hedra Dawod was in a convenience store with his roommate Marko Matta decided to try his luck in the lottery.
Being a believer in lucky numbers, he asked the clerk for a ticket that matched number 041 on the roll. However, Dawod had only $7 and borrowed $3 from his friend, with a promise to take care of him should the ticket win.
The $10 ’50X the Money’ ticket won $3 million and Dawod has made good on his promise.
