A single bettor from Austria has just won a 9.2 million Euro jackpot – the second biggest lottery jackpot ever recorded in Austria. The largest jackpot ever won in Austria is 9.4 million Euros, posted in August last year.
The huge jackpot amount is due to the fact that for only the fifth time in 27 years of operation, the jackpot was multiplied by five as no player had chosen the correct six numbers over five consecutive draws.
