OK, now it’s official. Friday night is now the biggest EuroMillions jackpot ever at €185 Million.
There was a moment there where, due to the exchange rate, it was the biggest jackpot in the UK, but not in the rest of Europe!
But it’s also the biggest jackpot EuroMillions can ever have, under the new rules.
Due to the EuroMillions jackpot cap introduced as part of the recent EuroMillions changes, the jackpot is now capped at a maximum of €185 Million.
The rest rolls down to the next prize tier until the jackpot is won.
Previously there were two biggest ever EuroMillions jackpots, both at €183 Million.
The first was won on the 3rd February 2006 which was shared between 3 winners. And the second, just 8 months later on 17th November 2006 split between 20 people.
