The Powerball Lottery played in many states has produced a lot of huge jackpots in the US and is thought to rival the El Gordo of Europe in terms of jackpot size.
The current jackpot for the May 15 draw stands at approximately $350 million which would place it seventh among the highest jackpots in US history, with the largest being a $656 million jackpot in 2012.
