Gastonia fireman Glenn Mace has recently won one of the biggest Carolina Cash 5 jackpots N.C. Education Lottery history, after a $1 ticket he bought at Mountain Stop on Archie Whitesides Road managed to match all five numbers drawn in Thursdays drawing.

The jackpot gave Glenn a prize of $611,447 or $415,784 after taxes.  First priority for the winner is to pay off his house.  He and his wife are also considering buying a house on the beach, and will definitely share with their two adult children.
