Bob and Madeleine Birrell, a retired couple who settled in Lake Erie six years ago, have won a $3.4 million jackpot playing lotto 6/49. Robert, who used to play using numbers that correspond to significant dates, used the quick pick option to record the win.
The couple had been planning a trip to Las Vegas in the last few months, will not have spending money worries for the trip. Here’s hoping they don’t blow through their fortune in the gambling capital of the US.
