Louis Gardner, who had been living with his partner for the past fifteen years bought a 4th of July Millionaire Raffle ticket, because his wife told him about it. They had also been planning to wed.
He decided to check his ticket at a store a mere three days before his wedding and discovered he had won $500,000.
Now they plan to pay bills, invest a little, and donate to their local church.
