Lee Orchard expects this Christmas to be completely different and many times better than the year before. While they had to make do with very little last year, a £1 million lottery win will see to it that they celebrate this Christmas in style and with all the trimmings.
Lee is a gardener who works at his parent’s garden center called Black Acre Nurseries in St. Columb. On his way to work in March this year, he decided to buy bread and milk at a Co-op store in Roche. While there, he used a £5 note he won from a previous draw to buy a £1 Million Gold National Lottery Scratchcard and bagged the jackpot.
Since then, Lee has been taking care of his family’s needs and two months ago, he bought a four bedroom house in Indian Queens where he grew up. That is where his family will spend their happiest Christmas ever.
