They say that lightning does not strike the same place twice; not so for the lotto. New York registered two separate winning lotto tickets recently.
In the first win, a 55 year old woman from Middleport won $1 million playing Mega Millions in December 2012.
And just this 4th of January, a couple from West Seneca won playing Money For Life scratch-off tickets that guaranteed them a minimum total payment of $2 million, spread over the next two decades.
