Two people in Iowa have won a million dollars each.  Betty Downs, a retiree won her million from the Mega Millions draw of 10th November.  She found it hard to believe her luck when she used the ticket machine and had to ask the clerk to verify it. 

48 employees of the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre just got early Christmas presents courtesy of the Lotto Max.  That is because winner and syndicate trustee Kevin Vey won a million dollar payout.
