Persistence Pays For Kimball $1M Lottery Winner

Loran Kramer, has been playing the lottery ever since he moved to Kimball in 1974.  He even recalls winning $100,000 from the lottery once.

Last week, Kramer topped that, when the ticket he bought matched the first five white numbers drawn in Nebraska Lottery’s semi-weekly draw Tuesday night.  The combination would have paid a jackpot of only $250,000, but since Kramer paid an extra dollar for a “Megaplier” option, his total win shot up to an even million dollars.

Kramer plans to save part of the money and also to share with his son.

When asked to explain his lucky win, Kramer said, “You don’t win if you don’t play.”  He plans to continue playing the lotto.
