A household name football star has won a substantial prize on the UK Lotto.
He matched 5 balls and the bonus number to claim a prize of £125,000, for which he has already collected the cheque.
As the UK Lotto allows winners to remain anonymous however, and the Premiership star has requested anonymity, they have not been able to confirm who the winner is.
It hasn’t stopped the rumour mill working overtime though, with a number of names being put forward.
