Remember last weeks UK Lotto triple rollover?
Well we now know who won it. And hard-up truck driver Matthew Breach is the lucky sole winner of the entire sum.
Matthew, 37, from Battle in East Sussex works for Rother Cartage builders merchant dropping off sand and shingle.
He got a workmate in the office to check the numbers online for him. His colleague read out the first four and Matthew read back the last two. All 6 matched and changed his life in an instant.
The stunned trucker spent all weekend alone in his ground-floor flat in Battle, East Sussex, planning a new life after contacting lotto chiefs at Camelot. Staff checked his ticket yesterday morning and confirmed he was the sole winner of the £17,799,986.
His next-door neighbour, Jackie, said “It couldn’t happen to a more hard-working guy.”
The £17.8 million win was the UK’s 20th largest ever sole winner, and only the 7th time the UK Lotto has rolled over 3 times.
Best of luck to you Matthew.
