I’m not sure the UK needs yet another lottery game. But starting this Thursday you can now ‘Plus 5’ your UK Lotto entry.
At the moment the UK Lotto is drawn Wednesday and Saturday. Lotto Plus 5 will be drawn on the other 5 days of the week.
It’s a 6 from 49 game as you play by picking your Lotto numbers as usual and then ticking a box to add ‘Plus 5’ to your entry. Those same numbers are then played in all 5 additional draws for £1 extra.
The prizes are fixed amounts ranging from £2.50 for matching 3 balls, to £250,000 for matching all 6.
Given that it only costs £1 for FIVE additional draws I can see this catching on and becoming quite popular.
