The national lottery has revealed that drivers are the second luckiest profession, with builders taking the top spot.  Drivers have won a total of £750 million since the lottery began operations.

Another syndicate has won big in the Euromillions Lottery and 38 workers are in full celebration mode.

The workers from pet food production company C&D Foods in Edgeworthstown won a jackpot of €500,000 in last Tuesday’s draw of the Euromillions Plus. 

A group of twelve mostly workers at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto recently claimed a quarter of the $50 million jackpot from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

$120 worth of tickets every week for two years is all it took for a group of ten workers to hit a million dollar jackpot.  It was actually Rush himself who found out one of their entries managed to match five numbers in the Powerball draw; he screamed in excitement.

This week, a plumber wins a huge $136 million Powerball jackpot, and a lottery winner hands out free lotto tickets on the train where he used to work.

Don Wilson of Chesterfield is one very lucky man.  He bought three $1 million winning Megamillions tickets for the June 2 draw and two other tickets won $500 each.

Most big lottery winners splash out on a new home and a new car.  Some even go on a spending binge that ends only when the money is gone. 

Geordie Rodick and his wife once again proved the old saying that behind every successful man is a woman.  Rodick has thrown his EuroMillions ticket in the bin when his main numbers did not win anything. 

Police constables from Hamilton, Tara Vallentgoed and Sarah MacGregor’s job is to catch criminals.  After the May 30 draw of the 6/49 lottery however, the lottery playing syndicate of two ‘nabbed’ a big jackpot – all $5 million of it.
